Here's my little girl (a very long time ago) in Alaska with her Alaskan husky pup Sam. He had the bluest eyes. She loved the puppies and would dress them up like she did her Barbie dolls. She ended up being the Jr. World Sled Dog Champion two years in a row when she was just 5 years old. She starred in an Austrian children's film about sled dog racing that year and ended up in Faces in the Crowd in Sports Illustrated. Quite the little celebrity by age 6! She's now 21 and a wonderful artist and knitter.
