Well, I picked the last of our tomatoes today. It's a chilly gray rainy day and after my walk this morning I decided I better pick the rest of the tomatoes. Some will be made into salsa and sauce and the green ones are going to be fried! YUMMY! I love Fried Green Tomatoes. I slice them up, dip them in a mixture of cream whisked with an egg, then flour and cornmeal and then fry them in olive oil. They're tangy and oh so good!!! At least I saved them from the slugs!
