Is it fall already? I received my latest issue of Knit 1 the other day and I immediately tore this out along with the pattern. I love it. I'm sure Buck would love it too if I wore it like this! Ummm....not gonna happen.
It's made with Lion Brands new Cotton Ease yarn. I'm gonna gather all the materials and supplies and take it with me next month on my trip to Alaska. Yep, we gotta go up for a week, so this will be a good project for me to work on.
If you've never read about Buck's family cabin, you should. It's pretty interesting. Since Buck's dad passed away two years ago, no one goes out there any more. The roof needs to be replaced, so we've got to fly out and help. I'm sure within a couple of years it will be sold. That will be a hard and sad day.
Anyway, I've just recently discovered all email going to my email@example.com account is lost in cyberspace. Apparently, my provider changed to a new email system and all forwarded email didn't get sent to me. Isn't that nice? It seems to be fixed now, so hopefully I won't run into this problem again.
I used Violets are Blue's Random number generator to pick the winners for the little Birdie nests. The first is #4 which is Violet -- hummm...how coincidental is that?
The second winner is #9 which is Est! Okay girls, just to make sure I receive your address, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll send it out to you!
Thanks to everyone who left a sweet comment and put up with my email tantrum. I'll continue with the Crafty Karma giveaways. Promise. :-)
