My friend, Deborah Merlo, posted an easy DIY Mehndi bleach pen project. She made a tube top and I decided on my favorite jeans.
What you'll need: 1 Clorox bleach pen, cardboard that will fit under your project (I used post office cardboard envelopes because they fit perfectly inside the legs), your jeans, and a design. You can find free mehndi patterns here.
Insert the cardboard inside the pant leg. Using the bleach pen, draw your design. Let it sit for about 20 minutes then rinse completely. Then complete the other side. Or don't! It's up to you!
I predict there will be a flood of bleach pen artists now! It's so easy and fun and your project turns out looking awesome!
