I was rummaging through some old stuff this weekend and found my First Grade Report card. How funny! As you can see, this is one of those old time report cards that were actually in an envelope. These days you get a computer generated print out. For some reason, a computer generated report card just doesn't hold the same importance. I suppose it's the packaging.I was so happy to start school and couldn't wait to go. I weighed a whole 42 pounds at the beginning of the year and managed to grow 2 inches and gain 5 1/2 pounds by the time I was promoted to grade 2. What a little shrimp!
