A Chunky Heart for you!

Since I'm in the Christmas giving mood, today's trunk giveaway is one of my heavy hearts strung on black linen with a silver lobster clasp. It's 18" long. Just email me at maize@maizehutton.com with your shipping information. I'll have a drawing and announce the winner in tomorrow's blog.

I received my 2006 Moleskine journal yesterday. This is a gift that I give myself every year. I love the Moleskine journals as you have one page for every day to jot down your thoughts, ideas or just doodle. There's a large pocket in the back that you can keep newsclippings, cards or other little treasures. It also has an elastic band that helps keep the book shut--in order to keep lurking eyes out. You can order one here.

If you've ever read The Artist's Way, doing your daily papers is the main theme in the book. The idea is to take some time in the morning to write down whatever is in your head at the moment so you're able to get out all the negative thoughts which allows more creative thinking. I swear by it.
