What I made...

Here's what I made with some of the trinkets in the Valentine's box. I stuffed them with polyfill and also some little strawberry scented balls from Daiso (the Japanese dollar store). There's a new Daiso located at Westlake Mall in downtown Seattle. I discovered it by accident. I've visited all three located in our area now and the one at Westlake is the best! If you live in the Seattle area, you really should pay this little gem a visit.

I also managed to make a trip to Value Village for some wool sweaters to make more of Betz's flowers (she's created a flower making monster!). Buck just laughed at me as I carried in two big bags. It's always his joke that he donates stuff to the thrift store and I go and buy it back. I also found some wool blankets that I'm thinking about cutting up into squares, embroidering each square and then making a quilt. We'll see if I ever get around to finishing such a large project! Maybe I will compromise with myself and make a throw instead. :-)

I also found some great vintage sheets which I'm thinking of stenciling and making into bags. I guess I've started on my Christmas and birthday presents early this year!

Those are so cute! I might have to stop looking at my eye candy heart box and actually use some of the stuff now.

I love those - I've been looking around for ideas on how to use my felt lover's pack from magic cabin!
