In my kitchen windowsill

I was down at the house remodel yesterday and found these little cuties that I'd completely forgotten about. Even though it was hailing yesterday, I know spring is right around the corner. C'mon Mother Nature, bring me a little global warming. Pretty pleeeze...

I received a nice surprise yesterday when Discovery Channel's Treehugger blog featured my Doodle Tags. Thanks so much Beth! And Craftzine's Blog featured the Doodle tag also! Thanks Nat!

I'm gonna be gone until April 5th. I'm taking Levi to Washington DC and NYC for Spring break. I wish we would have picked someplace warmer but I thought he'd appreciate some history and seeing a Broadway play with his mom before he leaves the nest. It's only a few more months and he'll be graduating and leaving for boot camp. My baby boy finally leaves. :-(

When I return I'll have a houseguest from New Zealand! I can't wait to meet her!

I hope Mother Nature brings you warmer weather soon.

I hope you and Levi have a fabulous time in New York. It is a delight to see the wonderful adults our children become but bittersweet because we remember their tiny sweet faces as babies. It gives our hearts a twinge.

Have a blast in NYC! I thought you'd be interested in checking out two great shops while you're there:
http://www.pearlriver.com and http://www.tinseltrading.com

I think you would enjoy both of these places.
