Sittin' with V on the Tiny Box River

Violet and I spent and afternoon on the Big Hole River. She loves goin out there, as do I. It's relaxing, sunny, the rocks are hot, the river is shallow enough to wade in and she gets to be off her leash.

I managed to do a little bit of stitching and listened to the elk trumpet in the distance. Also saw a couple of ducks swimming up river eating their dinner.

Dog days in Montana don't get any better than this!
