The Studio Opening

This past Friday night was the last Art Walk of the year, so I decided to open up my studio to the public.

It was a last minute decision, but we pulled it off in a matter of days. We, being my assistant Meg and I. There were 100 luminaries lining the sidewalk for an entire block. Wish I would have gotten a nighttime photo of that feat!

This is the entrance and one of my interior displays. There's also another display hanging in the window.

The back area of my desk.

There she is! Meg, my assistant who did all of the cooking (I gave her the recipes) and if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have been able to do this in such a short period of time.

Here's Mikey! Thanks Mikey for playing all night. We moved my work bench and had an instant dance floor!

We had over 100 people attend. Everyone had a great time. Even Violet wore herself out. Or maybe she just ate too much!
