If you've ever watched the movie Sweet November, you'll fall in love with the shawl Charlize Theron is wearing. A Google search will pull up a bunch of different knitted and crocheted versions. I found this pattern a while ago, way before I even knew how to crochet!
This is a great project for beginners and one that you can complete in a couple of evenings.
