Here's a fun project with all of the ingredients purchased at the thrift store!
It will take you some time to fit and sew the doilies to the lampshade, but you'll love the results!
You'll Need:
A thrifted lampshade. Find one that has a good wire structure and remove the shade.
Vintage Doilies. You can find these at the thrift store or the Dollar Tree sells them also.
Scissors
Needle & Thread (mine's thrifted!)
Start at the top and fold a doily over the wire. Stitch in place. You might want to use clothespins or pins to hold each doily as you fit them over each other and then stitch to secure.
So easy! I LUUUUVVVV mine!

I usually absolutely hate doilies but that is super cute!
wowie, this is great! you can be proud on yrselves!
This is really beautiful and super creative! Think I'll have to make one. Might take me a little while to save up enough doilies though I dont remember seeing that many at our thrift stores.
nice job. I have seen this before, but I think yours is nicer looking.
Oh my word! That is fabulous. Thank you so much for sharing your idea. So simple and dare I say it, obvious although I never would have thought of it in a million years!
I own several actual vintage doilies that have been passed down in my family. They are all in a box, but this would be a great way to show them off. I wonder though, what about cleaning?
Adorable! I can't wait to make one!
