Crafty Karma Tuesday--Ditto!

Here we are again! Another bag to give away along with some surprises from the studio cleanout. Just email me at maize@maizehutton.com with your shipping info. I'll have a drawing tomorrow morning and will announce the winner in the blog.

I had a very long day yesterday. At about 4:00 pm, I received a call from the sports medicine doctor at the school informing me to come and pick up my son. Levi fractured his wrist in two places and is now out of football for the rest of the year. It's really a bummer because this year they're doing great! They're 4-1 so far and are expected to go to State!

At least he's all drugged up and feeling no pain. I'll find out today whether he needs to have surgery on his wrist. The ER doc wasn't sure whether he got it set right, so we'll see! He doesn't get out of his homework though. He's right handed and it was the left one he broke.

I guess I better start sewing a formal looking arm sling for Homecoming!

I'm so sorry to hear that Levi is injured and send hopes for a quick recovery. Don't you just feel helpless when something happens to your child? My daughter broke her foot last week. She called and asked me to send her a care package (specifying it must have a Halloween theme). This is her first year as a married woman but I guess our kids never grow out of the need for care packages from Mom.

Oh Maize, so sorry about Levi. We just had a minor (very minor) trip to the children's hospital ER a couple of weeks ago. Weird when you consider that it literally only takes a second to injure yourself.
