A Matryoshka Doll for YOU!

See! I told you I was busy crafting over the Christmas break. As my New Year's gift to you, I developed a pattern for a Matryoshka doll.

Matryoshka (pronounced "Matrushka") dolls are traditionally made of wood and nest inside each other. They celebrate mama and her babies!

I made mine out of felt, but be creative! Add hair, beads, sequins, whatever you can think of to personalize your own set. You can even enlarge my pattern if you wish and make your dolls bigger.

However, please understand that I am not a professional pattern maker. I wish I could make mine look classy. Alas, it's just a sharpie drawing of the pieces I cut out.

These would make a great Valentines gift!

Have fun!

Cute!

I love how they look so serene - I think it is the sweet way in which you stitched the eyes???
