Me & My Gang!

It's dark and dreary here today, but I thought I better get some pics of the drawing for the Ipod Shuffle. Here all of you are! My Gang! Thanks to all of you for leaving a comment. I was feeling rather bored with my narcissistic self and figured I was either experiencing blog block or needed to go into blog rehab.

It's nice to know all of you peek in from time to time. I'm hoping I still have something interesting to share as I blog into year number three! I'm still a-maize-d with the blogging community and how supportive all of you are. Or maybe, it's just for the Ipod. :-)

I couldn't find one of those online name generators where you type in every name and then hit enter and it automatically picks a name for you. So, I did it the old fashioned way. I wrote out every name on a piece of paper. They're all here on another cake platter that I made from a vintage plate and goblet. I'm planning on giving these as birthday gifts this year. Wouldn't they look cute with a big cupcake and decorated with ribbons and such?

Yeah, again I creatively digress. In honor of Father's day, I let Buck pick the winning entry. I had to chase him down as he was upstairs going over our architectural drawings for the remodel.

When he finally picked a piece of paper that he said "looked good" I unwrapped it to discover that Henna won the I pod! Henna, please email me at maize@maizehutton.com with your shipping info so I can get the Ipod in the mail to you tomorrow! I hope you enjoy the play list I included for you.

Thanks to all of you who entered and encouraged me to continue. I certainly wasn't mad or feeling overwhelmed. I was simply trying to determine if there was still any interest in what I'm doing. So, even on the days when I'm yawning at myself, I'll keep blogging and hope that I'm inspiring some creativity out there.

{hugs}

I LOVE the photos you posted of the drawing... something neat about seeing all of those names carefully handwritten on little pieces of paper. I am SO thrilled that you are blogging into year 3 and can't wait to read more!!!

XOXO
