I've got a notion...or two...or three....

If there's anything in a fabric store besides fabric that I go crazy over it's the trim. I gotta have it, I must possess it. I have no idea what I'll actually use it on, but it must be mine, mine, mine...

Anything with birds on it...

or something kooky like a cat carrying a baguette...

I think I'll make a headband with this on it and wear it on my forehead in the morning. "Get me a cuppa coffee NOW!" Yeah, switching to tea didn't work....I'm not this polite when I need coffee...sil vous plait...humph...

Flowers? Yeah, it's mine...

Tiny little lace...

mine...

mine...

You asked for my raspberry jam recipe? Well, I don't have one of my own. I just follow the recipe on the Sure Jell box. It always turns out, so why complicate a good thing?

But, I would like to share a homemade marshmallow recipe I found yesterday. I made them last night and MAN are they good!!! Check it out here. I made the half recipe and I have A LOT of marshmallow....

I've been saving all of these wooden spools for quite a while. I finally got around to winding all my trim on them. I had Buck install a dowel shelf above my sewing machine, then I put all the spools on them. Not only can I see all my trim at once, it's also a great decoration.

Can you tell I like birds and houses?

No, I don't like them at all...

And flowers too! I wish Okadaya sold stuff online 'cause I'd be spending all of my money there....ah.....I miss it so....

Oh, I've put a link over on the right where you can join Leahpeah's Trade a Craft. C'mon. It'll be fun!

Maize, your blog is so cool! I love the bird trim so much! What a cool idea to put the trim on spools and store them over your work area-very handy. Fun fun!

Everything is perfect! Great choices of yours. And the idea to put them on the spools is neat.
Why don't they make wooden spools anymore? They are so much more beautiful than the plastic ones.

You got some lovely trims! I'm still drooling over the gorgeous fabrics on a previous post. Oh and the cupcake - love the felt cupcakes.
