Always Faithful

This is a picture of my son's platoon (that's not him) receiving their Globe & Anchor pin designating them an official Marine. We just returned from his graduation from boot camp in San Diego. It was one of the most emotional and proud moments I'll ever experience.

Is that boy crying? I bet its cause he wishes his momma was there to share it with him. My boi's date to graduate is Nov 5th that is just around the Corner. Is your still in boot camp?

As a wife of a former Marine (reservist) please give your son a heartfelt thanks for his service! May he stay safe.

i somehow stumbled across your blog, and had to say hello to a fellow Marine family. my brother graduated from the MCRD on sept 11 of this year - just before your son. :) i didn't get to go to his family day, but i did make it to graduation and couldn't be prouder of him.

great site/blog!
