My little town....

I thought I'd show you where I live, well what you can see of it anyway. These were taken with my old camera on Tuesday as I was heading to the city on the ferry. It was such a beautiful day. Those mountains in the background are the start of the Olympic range. You can click on the picture to get a bigger view.

I moved here from Alaska back in 1994 and I've never even hiked through the Olympic forest. My bad. I tell Buck every year that we better go do it since thousands of people travel from all over the world to hike in the beautiful park. Isn't that how it is though? You never get around to seeing the things you should since they're so close.

If you were to follow the passage under that bridge you'd end up at our house. Well...you'd end up at our house that is currently abandoned and awaiting permits for the big remodel. I miss the view and the quiet.

I've been practicing with the new camera. I'm currently looking for a good lookin' bag and strap for it, so if any of you know an indie designer who makes camera bags and straps, could you email me with a link? There's gotta be someone out there who does!

You could always sew your own camera case:
