Scary Girl!

I found this pattern yesterday. I thought it was cute and decided I had to make one. Well, mine isn't quite finished yet. She needs more hair, some pink cheeks and a little dress, but I thought I'd show you how things can go awry very quickly!

I hand stitched it in linen, which I like. But...she kinda turned out looking like this. Don'tcha think?

Or, maybe she's just reminding me of this?

Yeah, that's what I'm thinkin'.... :-)

That looks like my head after Artie has given me technical instructions. I'am seriously thinking of resorting to the mooning you give Buck when you get the same thing....

I have to tell you that I have made a number of these little dolls! My friends all have begged me to make them one! I know that the doll looks funny until you get them all done! I don't tea dye or bake the dollie. I just make the dool out a little darker fabric then what is called for. If you want to see how mine have turned out come over and check out my photos at http://www.flickr.com/photos/wolfmom2ac/886169539/ and here's another one: http://www.flickr.com/photos/wolfmom2ac/477770188/ and one more! This one os my favorite! http://www.flickr.com/photos/wolfmom2ac/445765373/!
I can't wait to see your dollie done!
